Saturday May 30th

  • You can come out and march with the Stella D’oro union superstars at Noon. The group will gather at Target, 225 St. East of Broadway (#1 train to 225 St.-Marble Hill (at B`way)) and rally and march to the factory at 237 St. & Broadway

Come out and show support for the Baucus 13, who boldly demanded the Single Payer option be represented at health care hearings, and who have been charged for standing up for every American’s right to health care and exercising their constitutioal right to free speech. 

  • Marriage Equality Candlelight  Peace Rally with the Love Equality Project in Times Square at the TKTS steps from 10pm-Midnight. You will be able to sign petitions and letters to the Senate.

Sunday May 31st


  • People’s Economic Summit – Tent City – starting at 11 a.m at  DAG HAMMARSKJÖLD PLAZA, 47th St. & 1st Ave

Come to the PEOPLE’S ECONOMIC SUMMIT–Share information and insight on how the economic is affecting poor and working people all over the U.S. and all over the world. Participate in panels and workshops. Help formulate a vision for a future free of social and economic inequality and injustice. Help plan the fight to make that vision a reality.

Invited speakers include: : UN Delegates, Cynthia McKinney, Ramsey Clark, Howard Zinn, Nawal El Saadawi, Medea Benjamín, Ajamu Sankofa, Vinie Burrows, Nellie Bailey, City Councilperson Charles Barron, Chris Silvera, Brenda Stokely, Larry Hamm, Lynne Stewart, Rev. Lucius Walker, Sonny Africa, Paul Quintos, Dulphing Ogan, Curtis Doebbler.

Sessions topics will include:

* Defending Immigrant/Worker Rights
* Building a Struggle of Youth and Students
* Communities of Faith for Peace and Justice
* Capitalist Crisis, Racism, Repression and the Prisons
